Fitness Workshops

Workshop 1: Stay Motivated (90 Minutes)

Only 3% of us ever write down our goals, and the people that do write them down have a much higher chance of succeeding!  Getting and staying in shape is not about willpower, it’s about focus and memory.  If you’ve ever failed to stick with your fitness program before, let me show you how you are NOT WEAK…you may have just been forgetful.

I want to share with you:

  • How our minds really react to clear goals.
  • How to reprogram yourself so that you STAY CLEAR on your goals for years.
  • How writing down your goals can be your first and best defense against temptation.

Workshop 2: Overcoming Emotional Eating (90 Minutes)

We all have emotional needs that MUST be fulfilled, and no matter what, we find ways to fulfill them.  However, many of us have learned to crave feeling “full” instead of fulfilled.  You may be using unhealthy foods to try to get certain feelings, or avoid other feelings.  I know first hand that eating to feel good works, but you pay for it later.

Let me help you:

  • Identify the times when you are eating when you are not really hungry.
  • Find out exactly WHY you might be craving junk foods, and skipping your workouts.
  • Develop new ways of feeling the way you want to feel.

Workshop 3: Tips and Tricks to Avoid Cravings ( 90 Minutes)

We’ve all heard great tips on how to stick to our diets.  Drink lots of water, never grocery shop on an empty stomach, to name just two.  I’ve developed a great collection of mental tips and tricks that can help you resist temptation and stick to your workouts.  Apply the tips that you’ve learned so far, plus the new ones from Commitment Conditioning, and speeding past that drive-thru will be easy.

I can show you new ways to:

  • Make unhealthy foods less tempting, so that they are easier to resist.
  • Resist buying that junk food that you love, AND feel good about it.
  • Turn your greatest “bad” temptations into triggers that make you want to work out.

Workshop 4: Avoiding Sabotage (90 Minutes)

Have you ever worked out for 3 months, 6 months, or even a year and looked really good?  Did you also feel great?  Did you say, “NEVER AGAIN will I get fat”?  Then, did you get out of shape again?  The frustration and guilt that come with this can be crippling.  When you set out to change your body, you are actually changing your whole identity, and our minds can start resisting this change.

I’d like to tell you:

  • How and why our minds naturally resist big changes…even good changes!
  • How the most important people in your life may be scared of you changing for the better!
  • How to condition your mind to stop resisting good changes in your life.
